What are we doing?

We are selling banner advertising on our home page. Each contributor will be charged according to the size of the banner. We will contribute 60% of the money we raise to charity. Anyone who visits our site will be able to vote for their charity. When we have sold $25 million in advertising, we will tally up the votes, and the top three charities will split the proceeds. The remainder will go to our families and to fund our startup. It’s essentially Charity Idol. America votes for where the money goes.

Who are we?

We are a small young startup company made up of four people, a lot of talent, a lot of good ideas but no money.

Why are you doing this?

We need money to fund our company. We have enough to survive, but we don’t have enough funding to do it right. And it is very important to us that we do it right. We could get funding from a VC firm or an Angel investor, but if we can fund the company and give back to charity, then that is a better solution. Once the company is running we will continue to give back a percentage of our profits to local charities.

What do you hope to gain from this?

Money: and the satisfaction of sharing that money with worthy causes.
We will give something back to the causes and charities that America feels are the most deserving. We will also fund our cool new company that will be around for years to come; the next Google or Pixar.

What do I get as an advertiser?

You get a link to your home page, a popup tag describing what your company is about, and exposure. This kind of charity give away has never been done before, so you will potentially have millions of people looking at your advertisement, along with traffic clicking through to your website.

How can I be involved?

Tell Everyone. We want everyone in America to be involved. If you are a charity or a corporation, you can contribute by purchasing a banner ad on our $25 million homepage. Everyone else can spread the word, and vote for where the money is to be spent.

Why $25 million?

We felt that in order to make a difference to a charity, we should think big. $19 million will go a long way. We could spend billions of dollars on fixing the worlds problems. $19 million will be a start.

How long will the site be online?

The site will always be online. We will reach the goal of $25 million by December 15th, 2006. Once we reach the $25 million, and people still want to be involved, we will raise the percentage donated to 80%. We will still collect votes and distribute to charities every quarter.

Terms and Conditions

· The minimum purchase is $1,000. There is no maximum. The larger the purchase the higher up on the page your banner will appear. We have reserved the top line of the page for a one time purchase of $500,000.
· - Once you submit a banner advertisement it can be changed. We will permit one change every quarter.

· - Each banner advertisement will contain a link to the advertiser’s website, and a pop up alt tag describing the website and containing the url.

· - Once your banner advertisement is on our site, you can’t get a refund. If you would like us to remove the advertisement, we will ensure that it is taken off the site within one business day.

· - The site will be viewed by the American public, and will be connected to multiple non profits and charities, so we do not accept any offensive links or objectionable content. The definition of objectionable is entirely at the discretion of 25large.com.

· - Should an advertisement or link be rejected due to inappropriate content, the advertiser will have the opportunity to submit another ad or link. If another ad is not forthcoming, we will issue a full refund.

·- Should any advertiser choose to redirect the link at a later date to a site considered objectionable, we will remove the link at our discretion. In this case, the client will not be issued a refund.

·- Banner ads delivered must be the same size as the space purchased. Sizes offered all conform to advertising industry standards.

· - You must have authority for the url and banner ad submitted.

· - All payment must be received and processed prior to the ad being posted on 25large.com.

·- Links must be to web pages only.

· - Once you have ordered and payment has cleared, your advertisement is guaranteed to be on 25large within 48 hours.

·- Votes will be tallied at the end of every day, and an update will be posted on the website daily.
